# Greetings and question

Hi, I’m new here and excited to dive in. I’ve made a few apps based on my own existing spreadsheets but have run into a question in using a template. There is a template called Mobile Restaurant, and it has two buttons on the home page that use the link to screen function, but the tabs’ button state at the bottom of the page doesn’t update from the home page tab. Is this a bug or can it be corrected to highlight the appropriate tab?

Link to screen buttons are not connected in any way to the tabs at the bottom. The layouts are designed separately. Currently there is no option to link to a tab. Only a new screen.
