Hi Team,

Using the send email action. The email went to spam by default.

Hope we can fix this soon. Thanks! 🐞

Is it happening for a specific email domain?

No, I mean the ones that are receiving the email. Are they from the same domain? There might be a chance that the domain filters Glide’s emails as “spam” or even blocks them.

Sorry, I don’t have any further pointers. If this issue still persists, please get support from within Glide while the app is open by selecting the “?” button at the bottom right. That will bring you to a support page, which currently has an “Open Support Ticket” link.

Have you tried whitelisting the @appuser.io domain?

I’m having the same problem.

How can I whitelist [appuser.io](http://appuser.io) _for the receivers?_ I don’t have access to their client, and certainly can’t change settings for them.

I’m using the Send Mail action and I don’t control the source email address which is [notifications@appuser.io](mailto:notifications@appuser.io).

Thanks!

Not a whole lot you can do. You can’t control what each individual user’s email provider is going to allow or block. The best you can do is encourage users to check their spam folder. Even the biggest companies communicate the need to check the spam folder. From there a user can still set their own whitelist to allow the email in the future.

Personally, I avoid the Send Email action wherever I can, and instead use Make to send emails using the GMail module. This gives me full control over the email content, and also allows me to use my own (or my clients) domain as the source. The downside is that it’s a bit more work to setup and it comes with a modest cost, but I think the benefits make it worth it.
