# Glide does not recognize Image URLs as Images

Hello,  
why does glide does not recognize my URLs as images? What do I need to do to change the file format in google sheet (in one column)?

We should add a heuristic to detect Unsplash URLs as images. Thank you for reporting.

Ah, the problem is that those aren’t actually image URLs. They’re just URLs of Unsplash pages that have a images on them.

I uploaded a Google Drive link and now the image is visible.

It would be great, if you can do more tutorials how to structure the google sheet to create an app!

@Joan_Rogers you should also check out their [https://source.unsplash.com/](https://source.unsplash.com/) on how to generate images via the uri path

This, for example, works with glideapps:  
[https://source.unsplash.com/random](https://source.unsplash.com/random)  
And you can specify size, categories, collection, etc
