# Glide Apps - Tile Design & Text options similar to classic apps?

Is there a way to have the same element design options in the new glide apps?

- Tiles with text overlay
- Dark mode on whole app
- Define # cards per row etc.

We really want to upgrade but it looks like a lot of the core component design features have not been moved over. For example:

Wondering if these are on the roadmap or if we will have to stick with the legacy app?

Can’t say for sure, though I expect many of these to be available, since Glide said only these are not going to be brought over.

Does anyone know if this will be put live? I’d love to move across my old app but the new 2.0 design is a lot more basic

I don’t think it’s likely this design is moved over, it has been a long while since we’re on the new version.
