# Glide App built-in version history or restore point function on the side bar

As a new Glide developer working with collaborative teams, I’d like to formally request a **built-in version history and restore feature** for Glide apps. When team members make unintended changes or break functionality while I’m unavailable, there’s currently no way to roll back without duplicating the entire app beforehand, which is manual, error-prone, and inefficient. A native versioning system with restore points would significantly improve app stability, team collaboration, and developer confidence. This is a critical feature for scaling serious, production-level Glide apps. This is very critical for back-up disaster recovery. Respectfully.
