# Glide AI instruction

the instructions for my text generation using glide AI is pretty long, instead of writing custom instructions, I set the instruction to a data table where they are more organized, but I dont see changes when I change the data in each box(all data is text). I feel like it only uses A1 as instructions? I tried putting all the data in the same box and the generations take much longer but it appears to follow the instructions.

Do you mean A1 here as the cell of your instructions sheet? What type of data source are you using?

As Jeff said, would need more screenshots to understand the problem better.
