# Glide Accessibility

Starting a thread to discuss the Accessibility in glide. The great news is that the app components are fairly easy to navigate with a screen reader. There are a few things missing though.

1. A rating component doesn’t tell you on a screen reader what start you have checked or unchecked.
2. the choice component does not tell you what item you have checked if you are in the bubble style view.
3. No alt text image descriptions on inline images e.g. in profile titles.
4. Legacy icons read badly on a screen reader.

It would be great to get a timeline on when these items can be addressed.
