# Get Device Type in APP

I am needing to get access to the device type (Andriod, iPhone, Chrome, Safari, etc…). My app has the need to provide a list of items that are related to the device being used.

I have done a bit of searching and reading in the docs for Glide but have not found a way to access the type of device being used…

As far as I know, we don’t currently have access to any of that data.
