This looks like fun! 🙂 Quick question as this will be my first template: should I remove all dummy data from my app before submitting it? I have my email address as one of the users which I’d obviously prefer to change. Should I just edit it with whatever user info I dream up? If I do this, how do I get new users of the template to see the dummy data? ---

New Pages templates will auto-populate dummy data for you. This is especially helpful for the User Profile table. It’s best to keep that dummy data in there and then add your own dummy data to other Tables if it’s needed to show off the features of your template. ---

Ok, so I remove all of the dummy data I created in it and then new dummy data will be created when someone downloads it? Or submit it as is and all my current data gets removed? ---

Submit it with your dummy data in tact if it helps show off the template — a database with no data may result in a completely empty Page or App, which doesn’t really show it off very well! I believe when someone downloads the template, they get it as-is with whatever data is already in it. They would then need to modify or clear the dummy data themselves. ---

Oh dang! I need to create a video for this template? I’m terrible on camera! (plus my mic is horrible). But it seems like a video of our template is required, is that correct? If so, what do you suggest I use for the recording, just something like Loom? ---

Yes, I just use Loom (then download and upload to Youtube) for these Pages templates as I don’t think the video is part of the template store for these and is just for Glide to see how the template works. For apps, I usually try to create a nice video that showcases the app because the video is included in the template store preview. ---

Oh for sure!.. I don’t think this interface language automation is working at all for pages. Anyway it could be more convenient an option to manually select language interface messages option or still better to manually customize any interface message or placeholder , so a more personal style can be applied. 😉 ---
