# For app end-user, ability to control columns that Search function searches

In a completed app, for the end-user, the Search box searches the entire table.

In my case, this produces unusable results. We need a way to select / limit the columns that the search function searches. I’ve seen other requests, but no feature, and no workarounds. Is there a solution?
