# Expand / Collapse Text Components or Container (Accordeon)

Normal container that has an option for it to be collapsible or text components like notes  
**Use cases**

- hide description of an item if it take too much space
- hide components of form that are not required but can be expanded if needed

This feature request has received few votes. Maybe there is another similar one.

**Request:**

A **accordeon component** with a title and symbol, whereby if the user clicks on the symbol or title the component expands to show text. If the user clicks again, the component collapses.

I can build this, but I would prefer not to.
