# Evaluate a user's achievement

Hello there,

I’m trying to figure out how to set up a reading app. This is to follow students’ reading activity.  
I’ve added a simple progress bar and intend to add up points whenever the students add their reviews and their photos.  
Would there be a way to add points on the fly while displaying the app?  
Would I be able to select the group and add up points in the progress bar column?

This is a feature I’m really looking forward. Being able to select a group and add up points. Thanks for your help.

Sure is. Take a look at my leaderboard app here:  
[housepoints.glideapp.io](http://housepoints.glideapp.io). Points are submitted via form and calculated. The total points is displayed here. You could easily display this as a progress bar as well. I have the same type of logic in my gamified app

I’ll work on something more concrete/shareable today/tomorrow. Points only assigned to groups like the house points app or assigned to kids which gets totaled by guild (itemstore app)? Or combo of both?

I was hoping to rate the groups’ achievements by assigning them some points in class during the lesson.
