# Error when connecting custom domain on Route 53

Any help on why it is saying error? It has been a few hours already.

The A record doesn’t seem to be propagating. Does anyone have some insight?

You added the app on the subdomain or the main domain?  
Sub-domain:  
`app.company.com`

domain:  
`company.com`
