# Download Vcard to local contacts

Hi there 🙂

I wish there’s a button that can add a contact’s name, company, and phone number to local contacts. Based on [this thread](https://community.glideapps.com/t/download-vcf-vcard-for-each-contact/21771), the best solution I have come up with is [generating a QR code using a template column](https://vcardqrcode.glideapp.io/), but I still would prefer the “QR vCard” button in my sample app to be a button that directly adds a contact locally with only one click.

I think when an organization is sharing a massive contact database, and people often need to save contacts to their local contacts, having to long-press or scan a QR code every time can become tedious.

Hope adding a contact with name, company, and phone number to local contacts with just one button click can become a feature soon.
