# Does Glide have scroll snap?

I have a question! In Glide, if you go into, let’s say, the last item in the collection, which is at the bottom of the page, and then exit, you will be taken back to the previous page with the same collection, but at the top. Is it possible to make the scroll stay at the same position where I selected the item?

To snap scrolling, change the navigation target: Collection \> Actions (advanced) \> click on the Item Click action (show detail screen) \> Target \> Select ‘Overlay’ or ‘Slide in’.

This will not snap scrolling per se, it will instead open the detail screen as an overlay or slide-in, thus not changing the scroll position of the previous screen.
