# Dns and website forwarding

Hi,

So currently I am forwarding my domain to glide app link in Google domains…

If I set a DNS record, and from what I understand it will take 4 to 24 hrs for it to take effect, in the meantime will my users still be able to access the glideapp through the domain forward?

It usually is much faster than 4 hours… But I assume that the forwarding Will work up until the new dns records, pointing to Glide, start working.
