# Different type of logins for certain sections of the app

Hello,

Is there a way to have different logins/access to certain parts of the app? For instance, I would like to build in a store that users access, but also have a section that the store owners can access.

Yes, it’s possible. You can use things like [tab visibility](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/reference/conditions/tab-visibility) to hide restricted areas. But that wouldn’t be 100% secure. (note the warning in the documentation)

For something like this I would probably build two apps. A public app for customers, and a private app for owners. The public app would be unrestricted, but the private app would only allow logins from authorised users. Both apps could share the same data source, whether that be a Google Spreadsheet or Glide Tables.

That makes perfect sense of developing two apps. There would be too many options in one app.
