# Delay function - Alternative

I made a post about this in Future Requests (vote there and thank you in advance), but someone used some trick to try to execute the flows of actions without one running over the other. Especially when the action flow depends on previous information, for example a Lookup.

Some developer I say. Because in the Glide editor it works correctly, but on the smartphone there is no time for the action flow to take the result of a Lookup and add it to another sheet.

I think what you need here is a custom form. You can have that lookup value in advance to execute an add row function and then a set column action if I understand you right.
