# Date field not working (and more)

**Describe the bug:**

- Cannot select anything in the date input popup when accessing from a slide out screen. Could be an issue with z-index (the overlay might be in front of the date field?).
- **Note:** _The dropdown selector is also not showing anything when clicked._

**Expected behavior:**

- The date should be selectable, and should have a z-index higher than the slide-out.

**How to replicate:**

- Place date-input element in a slide-out.
- While the slide is out, click the date-input to open the date selector popup.
- Try and select a date.
