# Customise user profile dropdown

I would really love to be able to add things to this dropdown along with renaming the “view profile” to something else like “Account” as it is meant for more sensitive information whereas a Public profile could have its own tab in the dropdown.

If you are on a glide plan with custom css available you can edit the button text with this snippet from @ThinhDinh glide css library

I think she means adding buttons not only changing the text.

Lewis is correct that CSS can edit the button text.

Yesss. I’d love to be able to add more things to the dropdown. Managed to get the text changed from View Profile to Account instead (where I can put all the user-info related settings, subscriptions and all that jazz)

My current workaround is a similar CSS on the hamburger menu and have that dropdown as the “profile” dropdown instead
