# Custom Filtering with Data Editor logic

A year or so ago I created a video to demonstrate some techniques for filtering collections and charts using pure data editor logic. The video is available on Youtube:

One issue: when I set the date range from **24 Feb to 25 Feb** , it only shows **sales from 24 Feb** , and completely **ignores 25 Feb**. I tried adjusting the column filter (`filter/ifMatchDateRange`) in the **sales table** by changing it to use **“on or before” and “on or after”** , but it **broke the system** when I did that.

Is there a workaround for this?

It appears that the data in the app is from previous years. Could you please try applying the filters again using the year 2024?

You didn’t say which year, but I’ll assume 2023. (The sample data in the App covers a two year period from Jan 2022 to early 2024)

What you see just means there is no data for 25th Feb 2023.

Try setting 28th Feb 2023 for both Start and End Date:
