This drives me crazy (not being able to have two edit screens for the same table, without jumping through hoops)
Any update from Glide?

This is my âCan we please oh pretty please not have `Cancel` and `Discard` on the edit column modal when we click away?â Itâs an internal joke between DJP and I, a joke which is not funny!

I actually donât mind this, except it makes no sense to have the popup if you made no edits to the column. That would be a wonderful adjustment.

Please note that it is 2025. Glide has grown significantly and now allows you to create ERP solutions, but without this functionality it is becoming increasingly difficult to build logic.

I mean, there is a workaround with new screen and Helper Table. But a native way of doing edit screen would be more than amazing!

It can even be made much more convenient, you can make two options for example:
1. Edit Screen - It is one for the entire table, just like it works now
2. New edit Screen - Adds the ability to create a new editing screen
As a result, you get two options for Edit Screen and it makes it easier to build screens, I am sure many developers will be very happy with this functionality

This is very necessary when I have 50 people working in the program with different rights and entering data into one table. When it comes to editing screens, I just want to cry.

Please consider this idea, it will allow you not to rewrite the current functionality, but simply add a new one to the existing one.
I am sure for everyone this option is the most profitable and convenient to implement.
