# Custom (AI) component doesn't allow me to enter any text/instructions into the box, the input box seems to be disabled

Hey Gliders!

I am not sure if it’s only me but it looks like it. I am not able to enter anything into the new Custom component on the free plan. Not able to enter any text or chat with it. Thanks!

You might have to enable AI and preview features in the team settings. I have mine turned off and I still see the component, but it doesn’t work just like yours.
