# CSV Export Function for Big Table

Dear Glide Teams,

First, I would like to specifically thank @Darren_Murphy and @Purvang_Joshi for the brilliant video they put together, which allowed most of us to export CSV from Glide Big Table using Make.

I don’t know what it would look like to have a large data and not be able to export CSV. Each time I used their methods, I feel like I owe them a lot because it was a lifesaver, though it has its own limitations, like the code breaking when there is an empty space etc, but it’s the only better option we have.

It has been 2-3 years since Glide announced Big Table, and there’s still no way for users to export CSV. We really need to let users use the Generate CSV function.

Is this in the pipeline? Should we be expecting this at all or it’s not going to ever be possible to use the Generate CSV action to export CSV.

We urgently need this!
