Are you saying the image does not load at all, or that this is the image that gets cut off when you change to a circle container? Curious why you can’t show a screenshot of it being cut off. The only advice I can provide is to make sure your image is a 1:1 ratio (square), and that you have enough of a border to account for any cutoff around the edges that may occur.

The fact that you can show a PDF in an image component is an unintentional feature that has always existed, but was never planned or officially supported by Glide. Generally whenever it does work, it’s only going to show the first page of multi-page PDF, so it’s not always beneficial. In your case, there may be something unique with the PDF itself that prevents it from rendering as an image. Hard to say without having a copy of the PDF.

I think most of us tend to use a web embed component to view and interact with PDFs. Even then, it is a little bit of setup, but makes for a nice way to view multi-page PDFs within the app.

Also maybe the ‘Open Web View’ action as an option, but I have issues with that going full zoom without the option to pinch zoom, so have used “Open Link” instead, which opens the image externally with full control to zoom. Works fine for me on android, but from what I’ve read, ‘Open Link’ isn’t as friendly with IOS devices. Haven’t tested it, so I don’t know. Just another thought for viewing external c…

> I believe this is where I found the info: I set up a template column like this: https://docs.google.com/viewer?embedded=true&url={Document} And then I have a replacement set up to replace {Document} with the url of the PDF. I also have it set up to show images and website links, so right now I also have an If Then column set up to search for ‘.PDF’ in the url and if it has it, then I use the wrapped version of the URL. Otherwise I just use the URL in it’s original form. Just a word of c…
