# Creating Columns annoyance

This is minor issue I have every time I’m creating a column in the data tab
- add or edit a column
- select a dropdown
- then decide I don’t want to change the selection in the dropdown, I click in the same spot that opened the dropdown
- This causes the entire add/edit column popup to close.
I seem to do this a lot. It should just close the dropdown instead of closing the entire popup.

Yes, this is marked as high priority in our internal bug tracker, we have a fix that should be live this week. Sorry for the annoyance!
