# Copy app in a safe way

Hi there,  
So i developed an app that I would like to copy to use with a different group of people. Data is in GS. Is there a safe way to make a copy?

It would be nice to be able to make a copy whilst working within the app rather than having to go back to the dashboard…

You can. Just open the dashboard in another tab. I’m not sure if that’s recommended, but I’ve done it before. As long as you’re not making changes to the app whilst it’s being copied, I’d imagine that it’s safe enough.
