# Converting to row owner "hides" all rows

I have a table where I’m trying to use the Row Owner function on a column with emails. I’ve watched a bunch of videos and see that in all of them, I can pick a user to view as and when i do that, all of the columns except for the view as user are grayed out (as expected) indicating that I can’t see them. HOWEVER, what’s happening for me is that all the rows just disappear after I turn on row owners. And no matter who I pick as view as, I can’t see any rows. What’s happening here?
