# Connect google sheets with Oracle

Can I connect Google sheets with Oracle CC&B so that my Glide app updates in real time?

Hola!

I guess so and believing that you’re going to connect to a real Oracle database!

You will have to use Apps Script (a script in your Google Sheet) to connect to your external databases through the JDBC service.

The JDBC service is able to connect and retrieve data from MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

I have used JDBC before to connect to MySQL and MS SQL Server and worked fine but the **real-time** term has some meanings or flavors depending on your needs.  
E.g. if you want to have a fast update of your data based on time, the fastest speed will be each 1 min due to a Google Script limitation.
