# Connect and get data with bluetooth

Hi guys.

Someone have made a solution getting data from devices like glycemic scores using glide? Pair devices, read data. How to?

If the service you use provides an API that Glide can access, that will be the only way to retrieve data from your glucose monitoring device. Glide cannot directly collect data via Bluetooth.

What’s the manufacturer of your device?

It’s an interesting idea, but it would be a lot of work to make it compatible with every device. I’m not a Bluetooth expert, but I think manufacturers would have to give Glide access to their SDKs or some custom code to handle their devices properly.

May be the problem in not very great, only allow policy to get bluetooth devices at first step and see what signal we can catch from there. But for this I need that glide team unlock the permission feature of the app. I haved activated my bluetooth but I can t get the devices, pair and reveive data without this.
