# Confused and Frustrated by Pricing Logic

Hey Glide team,

Can someone please explain this to me because it honestly feels like I’m being penalized for upgrading.

On the **Maker plan** at $45, I get **50k rows** and **unlimited personal users**.

But if I want more rows and upgrade to the **Business plan** at $199, suddenly I’m limited to just **30 users**?

How does that make any sense? I’m paying over 4x more, and somehow getting _less_ in a critical area? What’s the logic behind this?

This is really frustrating, and I’d appreciate some clarity.

The Maker plan allows unlimited personal users (with personal/edu emails), while the Business plan includes 30 users of any email type.

**Maker Plan: Personal Users**

- **Unlimited personal users** : Anyone can sign in as long as they use a personal email domain (like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) or an educational domain (ending in .edu). You can check if the email qualifies as a personal email [here](https://personal-user-validator.glide.page/).
- **No limit** : There’s no cap on the number of these users who can access your app.
- **Intended for communities, schools, or public-facing apps** : Great if your audience is mostly individuals using non-business emails.

**Business Plan: Users**

- **30 users included** : The plan comes with 30 user seats by default.
- **Any email domain** : These users can sign in with any email address, including business domains (like @company.com), not just personal or educational ones.
- **Designed for organizations** : This is ideal for companies or teams where users have business email addresses.
- **Add more users for a fee** : You can purchase additional user seats if you need more than 30.

That makes sense I guess I have to to talk to sales for a custom pricing.
