# Compressed video files

I have a feature in my app where trainees upload their technique video files for their trainer to examine.  
Most files are about 30-60 sec long and depending on the phone camera the file size varies.  
I am using a pro app obviously but I will still be using a lot of the 10GB storage.  
I noticed that when glide uploads a file it does not compress it at all, the upload time takes quite a while.  
Did anyone try to solve this using a YC perhaps?  
Would be nice to get a pro feature to choose compressed file columns or pricing pro apps on basis of storage intake per month.  
For now I have to create an archive outside of the app.

FYI I’ve heard that the 10GB limit is not a hard limit for pro apps. (Or at least last time I asked months ago) It may be at some point…
