# Component appearing greyed and not active

I am trying to add a component to a page, but how much ever I try, the component appears greyed and not active. Is there a limit to the number of components that can be added to a page?

The Check box in the image comes greyed and not active. I have around 27 components on the page with varying visibility conditions.

I’m a little confused. I responded to you in the thread below, and you said it worked, but I feel like I meant to respond here. In any case, I think I would have the same response to this issue. Are the components actually attached to a row? If not, then I’m guessing the checkbox is greyed out because there is no column to update???

I was also confused. Yes, it worked because it was not attached to a row which had data in it.
