# Collection Search Filtering

How do I filter what my Users can search a collection for? IE My collection is pulling from Vehicles table, if you search number plates it works but if I want to search the customer name nothing pulls despite the customer name being a basic column in Vehicles?

We don’t have a list of what the search bar actually searches, might need @NoCodeAndy to talk to the team to provide us with that.

If you try putting the customer name in a text component in the details view, does that work?

Can you just categorize it for the time being and make an in-app filter? Then they could choose what they want and scroll for it. Maybe Glide will come up with something else.
