# Changing of data source location

can i change my excel data source on my computer to another file location, maybe to a location of another member in the team. Will my application still run and work?

It should. I believe Glide just looks at the file ID, which shouldn’t change. As long as the file remains available /viewable in the cloud, it shouldn’t be a problem.
