# Changing Custom Domain

Hey Everyone,

Can anyone advise as to how to change their custom domain? I’ve created a subdomain already and created the new CNAME in my domain registry (which is [123reg.co.uk](http://123reg.co.uk)) and its not updating on my app.

I copied my authID and typed in subdomain in [codepen.io](http://codepen.io) but yet still the app can’t validate the change.

Please help if possible as I’m looking to launch the app very soon.

I haven’t done any of this myself, but I’ve read that it can take up to a half hour for the updates to process.
