# Change in Rich Text component layout

Can I get to the data column from the ‘improved’ rich text component?

I used to be able to follow (taken directly to the data builder) the ‘link’ in a rich text component (it was highlighted with an arrow pointing to the data column) - I can’t find that any more? Now I get to scroll through a list of potential RTF to get to/find that data column since it is no longer highlighted.

Is their a new setting; it seems this is a step backward in usability.
