# Change cell value

Trying to create app that will simply get input from the user, make some calculation and show output.  
My version is Free version, how do I do this?

You will need:

- An [Input Component](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/reference/components/input) to get the user input
- A [math column](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/reference/data-editor/computed-columns/math-column) to do the calculation
- And then a [text component](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/reference/components/text) to display the result

Why don’t you give it a try, and then come back if you get stuck?
