The following works for me 🤷‍♂️

After the link opens, if I go to a text editor and hit Cmd-v, I get the Contacts email address pasted from the clipboard.

I can’t beleive, now it works also for me, of course also without 3 second wait, as it should be!!!  
I will try to reproduce the bug, that was for sure there!
