# Certification renewal/prolonging

Hello.
On the official glide website I have read that certification is valid for 1 year, unless another certification is completed - which moves the expiration date for all achieved certifications to the exp. date of the newest certification.
I am planning on go through all available certifications (found 5 of them). And now my question - what shall I do (in the future) when my certifications expire and there are no others to do? Will it suffice to retake the individual tests (or just one of them? based on the aforementioned logic)? Or what is expected?

So far they have been releasing new certifications within a year of the others so there hasn’t been a need to retake old ones, but I think if necessary you should be able to retake an old one to refresh all of your certifications.
