# Can we copy entire one app design to another app design

Hi Guys,
I have one app for one feature CRM, another app for invoice management, can I copy the design of invoice management app to first CRM app to make it one app alltogether?

No, there is no way to merge two apps together. You can add existing tables to an app, but you would have to rebuild everything else.

You can however copy different components between apps, under the same workspace. Simply right click on the component and ‘cut’ or ‘copy’ and then use the workspace top left menu to exit the app (return to your workspace), then select the app you want to paste into. I have done this numerous times and found it quite useful, especially for admin-client-type implementations where shared tables are used and you want the design to remain consistent.

I tried coping however, few of the components designs got changed as per the database design, I believe the only way is to copy paste the maximum things and remaining rebuilt.

Yeah, if you have a different structure, those parts must be rebuilt. Glide does a best guess on which columns to connect in the new structure, or maybe in some cases they don’t connect to columns at all.
