# Can button pass through predefined info without having to submit form?

Hello,

I have a button for someone to sign up for a class. I want the button to just pass through their email address instead of getting to a screen to fill out a form and then hit submit without needing to enter anything else.

Is there an action that is just submit instead of opening the form?

A button can only pass information through increment  
so instead you might want a text entry

Not that I aware of. Any changes make in your sheet and not recorded via the form will always be seen as a change from the sheet owner, so probably there’s no workaround without opening a form.

A button with a Zapier action might be your best bet.
