# Calendar: Save/pass additional data when creating an event?

Hi folks,

Is there a way to save more data than just the event name , when creating an event in the calendar component?

I use calendars inside “Projects” and would like to also pass the Project RowID to my table of Calendar Events, so that I can filter calendar content relative to the active project.

I agree that this should be a thing. Most of the time I would find myself wanting to add a meeting related to an event, so having the rowID in there to relate between two tables would definitely help.

Same thing with Kanban layout, if I recall right.
