# BUG | November is not showing in GLIDE data editor

There isn’t 31 days in November. It’s not a valid date.

I thought this formula works correctly.

I’m getting -1 month from now with Excel formula.

How can I avoid this kinda problems?

Your video shows you manually entering a date. How does that apply to the Excel formula?

I don’t use Excel Formulas. I tend to use the Math column when dealing with dates. If I want to find the last day of the previous month I would use something like this in a math column and replace ‘Now’ with Now.

```auto
Now-Day(Now)

```
