# Bring Push Notifications Back!

Unfortunately the push notification issues with PWAs in iOS are a blocker.

They’re caused by dependencies beyond our control.

That’s why we kept the feature in beta but ultimately deprecated it.

If/when that situation changes, I’m sure we’ll take another look at bringing back push notifications.

A few alternatives to consider in the meantime:

- SMS notifications via [Twilio](https://www.glideapps.com/docs/automation/integrations/twilio)
- Notifications via [Microsoft Teams](https://www.glideapps.com/docs/automation/integrations/microsoft-teams) or [Slack](https://www.glideapps.com/docs/automation/integrations/slack)
- Native device notifications via [Pushover](https://pushover.net/) ([API reference](https://pushover.net/api))
