**Describe the bug:**
Barcode scan button cannot open camera in installed app on Android. Just white rectangle with gray line are showed. Permission for camera is granted.
UPD: Yesterday in Chrome browser camera opened normaly, but today neither work in app nor in browser.
UPD2: Surprisingly, gray line sometime becomes yellow, and even green somewhere around the real barcode (without showing the cam picture on screen)

**Expected Behaviour:**
Camera live image after tap on Scan Barcode button with barcode feature.

**How to replicate:**
Install as app (Add to desktop) on Android from Chrome.

So this does work intermittently? Have you tried this on an iPhone?

Hello, I have the same BUG… JANUARY 2024.

When I open the Scanner, the camera turns gray but it doesn’t show the scanning interface and nothing happens. I tried on an iPhone 15 PRO and IT DOES WORK. So the problem is on Android.

Please help!

I also came across the fact that the camera turns gray, but does not show the scanning interface, and nothing happens.
On Android and in some Windows as well.
At first it works, and later it just became the camera turns gray, but does not show the scanning interface, and nothing happens.
I’ve tried different Android smartphones.
I find that the most stable browser is firefox, it still works, but chrome stopped working quickly.
of course, all permissions are enabled
