# Badge notification on tab

I’ve tried searching through the forums and am not finding what I need.

I’d like to have a notification when a new item is listed in my news tab (the spreadsheet that feeds that tab updates automatically based on an RSS feed of my website). This would let my users know that there’s a new article to read.

Does anyone know how to make that work? I do not want to send emails or SMS.

Currently, the best you can do is some Tab visibility trickery—Show a tab at the bottom of your app with the new content and once they read it, then the tab hides.
