Background in-app is Black, in-editor white. Why?

I’m using the “bold light” design theme. It has a white backgound.

In the editor, the background is white; as it should be.

When viewed on my phone, the background is black.

What’s going on? Bug? Am I missing a dark mode switch somewhere? Any suggestions?
