# Back buttons and crumbs

Can you point out the best way to allow users to go back a screen in new apps. I never worried about this in classic apps since there was always a helpful back button or I could add a button ‘go back’. Is that how it works in the new apps too? You have to insert a button with back? What about the crumbs feature… how does that work?

You can add a back button. Crumbs will not work on slide-in screens
