# Auto-updating not working on Brave browser

I have been making adjustments to my app and the auto-updating feature is not working. While working in the glide control panel, everything works great, calls are displayed in the spreadsheets and it works smoothly, but as soon as I manually update the app, all of the work and changes I have made are deleted.

Please help.

Did you turn off auto-publishing at any point?

No, but I have found the issue. Brave browser seems to not allow my app to auto update and does not save the changes made during the session.

I switched to chrome and everything started working again. This is the first time I have experienced this.
